Car wash raises equipment funds (12 photos)

Jocelyn Township fire fighters  held its annual car wash raising funds to replace much needed equipment such as turn out gear.

Vehicles lined up by the numbers during the three-hour fund raiser taking advantage of the opportunity to freshen up his or her vehicle of dust and grim. 

The past several years the annual car wash was held in the spring when temperatures have been cooler.  

Considering the grip the extreme heat has had on the region, today's car wash was perhaps a welcome relief for the eight volunteer fight fighters. 

Funds needed outside its municipal budget are raised through efforts such as the car wash.
