SooToday received the following fire ban notices from surrounding municipalities:
- The residents of Bruce Mines are advised that Fire Chief Lee Lamoureux has imposed a fire ban on all opening air burning, until further notice.
- A fire ban is in effect as of Tuesday June 21, 2016 as per Fire Chief Ron Smith. All burning permits are now suspended. Thank you for your cooperation!
- The Township of Plummer Additional has imposed a fire ban effective immediately June 21, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. There is absolutely no open flame burning allowed.
