Funds raised will go towards playground improvements at school
On October 10, 2015 Highland Ford is hosting Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd.’s innovative Drive 4 UR school program in support of St. Paul’s Catholic School in an effort to raise funds that will be used towards playground improvements.
For every person who takes a no-cost test drive in a Ford vehicle at St. Paul’s Catholic School, Ford of Canada will donate $20 and, unique to this event, Highland Ford is committed to matching each donation.
Donations from Ford of Canada and Highland Ford are to a maximum of $6,000 each, to a total of $12,000.
“We’re excited to be in a position to host this event to help St. Paul’s Catholic School and to be able to match donations raised on Saturday,” says Darren Smyl, dealer principal, Highland Ford. “This is a great opportunity for us to give back, celebrate our community and showcase Ford of Canada’s high-quality vehicles and innovative safety technologies.”
Community members who stop by St. Paul’s Catholic School will be able to purchase food and drinks.
There are prizes to be won including a Hallowe’en candy basket and grocery gift cards.
Registration is still available and can be done online.
Since the start of Ford’s Drive 4 UR School and Community programs in 2010, the programs have generated more than $5.5 million in donations for schools and charities in Canada.

When: Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
*Test drive participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license.
There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
