SAULT AREA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

While the 15 lucky winners of Sault Area Hospital Foundation’s “Around the World” draws won’t be travelling any time soon, they were all in consensus: their wins are giving them something to look forward to.
“Around the World” has been a significant fundraiser for Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) for the last decade. The draw was planned in the fall, and tickets first became available in December of 2019.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sault Area Hospital Foundation is working with Northstar Travel and Tours to extend the timeframe winners will have to use their trip prize or travel vouchers. This starts with a six month extension on booking deadlines, to ensure ample time to plan a trip once travel becomes viable again.
The proceeds from this draw purchase medical equipment for Sault Area Hospital.
Equipment purchases at SAH can only be funded through community support. This happens when our community purchases SAHF’s lottery tickets, attends SAHF’s events and makes financial donations. The latest equipment ensures Sault Area Hospital is able to deliver outstanding care, here in our community.
