Peacefully at home in his sleep on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of the late Mary Abbott. Loving father of Shari Abbott (Spencer) and Don Abbott Jr. (Cristina). Proud Grandpa of Tyler Abbott and Aidan Bond.  Beloved son of Marilyn Abbott (late Alfred). Dear brother of Nancy Beard (Lewis). Brother-in-law of Sharon Spurr (late Jim). Special friend of Anita Walker. Don will be sadly missed by many family and friends and especially his canine companion Rocky. Don was a proud member of the Echo Bay Elks Lodge #535.
