Grandmother “Noni” to Richard (Alison),Robbie (Melinda) Amanda (Jeff),Tristan (Courtney) & Alexis (Lewis) Anderson. Great Noni to Jenna, Celine, Riley, Katelyn, Chase, Jaxson & Katelyn “Kissabella”. Phyllis was a young country girl from Perth Andover, New Brunswick; who stepped onto a train bound for Sault Ste. Marie with 3 small children to meet up with her husband Reggie. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. “Leave them; let them do whatever they need to do”.
Phyllis loved working, making people laugh, cry when they cried and everyone was family. She always believed that she was blessed beyond her wildest dreams. In her last few years she moved from her beloved West End to East Street to the Villa Santa Maria loving her upscale St. Mary’s River condo. Mama loved the Italian community & restaurants, especially the New Marconi Restaurant, Freddy Delarbo, Donnie D’Orazia & Family, the Stortini Family, the Miceli (international) and Caputo Families. Phyllis will be sadly missed by family & too many special friends to name. Thank you Susann Sweeney for being mama’s earth angel, the amazing PSW’s from Community Care & We Care, Iollie MacDonald for keeping Mom looking good & laughing, the Geriatric Clinic, Red Cross, the Sault Area Hospital, the doctors, the very special nurses on third floor C who gave our mother amazing care. Thank you Dr. Patterson and Staff. Donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen or just an act of kindness will be much appreciated.
