ARONSON, Walter

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Walter Aronson at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, June 6, 2016 in his 88th year, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Rhea (Martin). Father of Ken (Sharon), Keith (Doreen) of London Ontario and Donald (Nancy). Loving grandfather of Kristen Garlinghouse (Joe), Marty, Kurt, Todd and Kendra (Casey DeVos). Great grandfather of Emily, Aron, Isaac, Ian, Matteo, Andrew and Adam. Walter will be missed by his sister Anne Piedmont (New York) and brother-in-law Bob Martin (Norma). Remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brothers Louis (Bella) and Arthur (Fran) and his in-laws Dennis and Doreen Scott. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Dad received from the Lake Superior Wing of Maple View Extendicare. In respecting Dad's wishes, a private service will be held, officiated by Rev. Benny Kierjsdam, followed by interment in West Korah Cemetery.  Memorial contributions and expressions of sympathy may be made to Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
