Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Friday, October 7, 2016 in his 93rd year. Loving husband of the late Anni. Father of Berit Paddison (Terry), Sabie Backstrom (Marcel Rheaume), Christina Kelly (Jack), Bob (Debbie), Gladys Myers (Don) and Arne (Carol). Grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 18. Son of the late Oskar and the late Vilhelmina. Brother of Linnea Norling (Bob). Brother-in-law of Vera Akersten, Doris Miller and predeceased by John, Ragnar and Helgie Akersten. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.
