Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Friday, December 1, 2017. Beloved husband of Darlene. Loving father of Debbie (Alan Bean), David (Judy), Lisa (Dan Harman) and the late Stephen. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Steven, Bradley, Nicholas, Trevor, Jennifer and the late Matthew.  Great grandfather of Haylee, Lilyana and Braydon. Dear brother of the late Alice and the late Orren (late Violet). Brother-in-law of Don McDonald (June) and Clark Collins. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Russ was one of the original founders of the Echo Bay Fire Department. A Celebration of life will take place at the Sylvan Valley Hall (Hwy 638) on Saturday, December 9th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations to A.R.C.H or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
