BECK, Maureen May

Passed peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 79.  Beloved wife of the late Desmond Beck.   Loving mother of Debbie Jourdin (Roy), Bill Beck (Jane), Steve Beck (Ruby) and Susan Hall (Dave).  Cherished Nana of Jayda Faucon (Erik), Brandon Jourdin, Alyssa Lawrence (Dustin) and Emily Beck.  Great grandmother of Niibin Lawrence and Nova Faucon.  Daughter of the late Bert Richards and the late Lillian Mearow (late Jack Mearow).  Loved sister of Peter Mearow (Laurie).  Special sister-in-law of Cathie Klages (Jerry), Fiona Williams (Mike), Leslie Walker (Bill) and the late Connie Beck. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Special friend of Barb and Pearl.  Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Mauno Kaihla Koti at the Ontario Finnish Resthome for all their care and compassion.  Thank you to the Alzheimer Association for all their support to Maureen and her family.  A Memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E.).  Service details will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Ontario Finnish Resthome, Central United Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
