It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Nana, Nana Pupa, and Zia at the Sault Area Hospital on April 16th, 2025,with her family by her side at the age of 95.
She is reunited with the love of her life Francesco. Dearest Mama of Josephine "Pina" (Tony) Bennardo and the late Luigi "Gino"(Sandra).
Beloved Nana of Sonia Bennardo (Phil), Nicole Wood-Solomon (Kevin) and Antonio Frank Bennardo (Michaela). Adored Nana Pupa to Anthony, Audrina and Carina. Waiting for her in heaven are the late Angels Somia & Mattaia.
Dear sister of the late Teresa Fata (late Fiore), late Antonio (Anna), late Nicola Fata (late Ortenzia), Salvatore Fata (late Lisa) and Amadeo Fata (Louisa). Sister-in-law to Late Rosaria Gallo (late Antonio), late Carmela Lepore (late Saverio), late Nicola Bennardo Ciddio (late Maria), late Ernesto Bernardo (late Paolina), late Rosina Pucci (late Francesco) and late Maria Gallo (late Bruno). Treasured Zia Elena to many nieces, nephews and friends near and far who will miss her stories, laughter and sweet smile.

Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10:00-12:30. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00pm at St. Gerard Majella Church, with Father Charles Abiamiri officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre to follow.
