(October 21, 1959-February 28, 2019) - Heaven gained an angel on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, Rhea, in her 59th year, passed into the spirit world from the Sault Area Hospital of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Waiting for her with open arms, is her beloved father Etienne Blais and mother Monique Cloutier of Chelmsford, Ontario. Survived by her loving partner John Gibbs, who will forever cherish the memories of their life together. Lovingly remembered by daughters Melisha, Natasha (Greg), Samantha, Janine, and Jennifer; and grandchildren Wyatt, Miyah, Gregory, Keyarra, Luvlee, Sophie, John, and Nahko. Precious daughter in-law to Brian and Carmen Johnston, and the late Jack Gibbs; beloved sister in-law to Joe (late Ursula), Janine (Kevin), Mike, Suzanne, and Wanda. Rhea is predeceased by cousin Maryanne and she leaves behind aunt Pauline; cousins, Donald (Shannon), Floyd (Bernadette), Sally, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss her quick wit and loving ways. Special thanks and sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and other SAH employees of 3B who demonstrated unwavering care, compassion, love and respect for Rhea and her family and friends during her final days and hours. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life from 2-8 p.m. on Friday March 8, 2019 at the Garden River Community Centre.
