BOSTON, Michael

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Boston Sr. announces his sudden passing on August 7, 2017 at the age of 76.  Mike was born on June 13, 1941 in Sault Ste. Marie to the late Geraldine and Ferguson Boston. Mike grew up the youngest of four siblings: late Bob Boston (June), late Joe Boston (late Leida), late Pat Boston (Anne Marie) and is survived by his sister Barbara Hardcastle (late Colin). He spent most of his life in the Sault area where he worked at Superior Dodge Chrysler for over 25 years, serving many generations of customers with a smile. Mike will be forever remembered by his wonderful wife Laurette of nineteen years. They enjoyed cooking, canning and puttering around the farm with their kids, grandchildren and fur babies. Mike was incredibly proud of his family and is survived by his six children: Michael Boston Jr. (Anna), Randy Boston (Melinda), BJ Boston, Angel Pellerine (John), Jeff St. Pierre and Jennifer Boston Didine (Scott).  He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Tyler, Erica, Alyssa, Greg, Matthew, Kathleen, Connor, Abi and Boston. We are all forever blessed to have had him in our lives.  Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Precious Blood Cathedral at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
