Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Friday, September 8, 2017. Beloved wife and best friend of Frank Brooks for 54 years. Cherished and loving mother of Albert Brooks (Cheryl), Deborah Gauthier (Ron Sheaves), Stephanie Janzen (Tim) and Christian Brooks (Jenifer). Proud Grandmother of Miranda, Brooke (Wayne), Bethany, Noah, Meghan, Elayna and Emmett. Sister of Noëla Alexander (Fred), Leroy Eid (Diane), Jacqueline Schen (Sanford), the late Albert Eid and the late Ronald Eid (Cathy Cook). Predeceased by her parents Emmanuel and Mireille Eid. Josette will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Josette was a proud member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) and a devoted choir member. Friends are invited to St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church for Memorial Service on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11 am. Rev. Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
