BROWNE, William Gary

William Gary Browne, age 77 of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on April 24, 2018.  Born in Newmarket, son of the late William & Dora (Riddell) Browne.  Beloved husband and best friend of Dianne (nee Fox) after 56 years of marriage.

Loved Father of James & wife Susan (Breanna, Kaleigh) of Sault Ste. Marie, Steven & wife Alena (Saige, Sydney, Cadence) of Kitchener, Karen & Michael Hudson (Carter, Maxwell, Jack) of Atlanta GA, Jennifer & Franco Dassie (Gabriel, Matteo, Maddalena) of Stratford. Brother to Robert & Alba of Costa Rica, Ronald & (predeceased) wife Minnie of Keswick and Tom of Downsview, many cherished nieces & nephews. 

Gary's devotion and selflessness towards his family, grandchildren & friends was evident to all, even in his final moments. His integrity and honesty were the corner stones of his beliefs. Gary retired from the Royal Bank of Canada after 30 years as Regional Manager of Central ON. He was an avid fisherman and loved a game of cards.

Thanks to ALL of the Doctors, nurses & support staff who were instrumental in making Gary's last moments comfortable and peaceful.

A private family interment service will take place at Avondale Cemetery at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Canada or 155 Borden Gray GC Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets through the W.G.
