Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of Raymond who loved and cherished her from the moment he set eyes on her and have been married for over 60 years. Cherished mother of Shauna De Feyter (Hans) and Rae-Ann Brunette. Proud Nana of Jacob Brunette (Miki), Maximus and Ava De Feyter. Proud Great-Nana of Benji Brunette. Our mother lived for her family and there was never a time that we didn’t feel loved. She will be greatly missed.

Daughter of the late Thomas Evans and Dorine Paul (late Mike). Beloved baby sister of the late Harry Evans (late Pauline) and late Thomas Evans (late Lillian). Remembered with great love and fondness by her nephews and niece, John Evans (Nancy), Jim Evans (Joanne), Wendy Posteraro (Mario) and Trevor Evans. As well as her great nephews and nieces. Darline was also treasured by many more extended family members. Darline has had many friends in her life that valued her dedicated friendship and contagious spirit and always remembered her time working at the Ministry of Natural Resources, Fire and Aviation with great fondness.

A special thank you to the exceptional staff at the Extendicare Van Daele for taking such good care of our mother and recognizing how precious and special she was. We are forever grateful to all the workers there and extend our gratitude and appreciation.

Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522). A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to Extendicare Van Dale Manor would be greatly appreciated. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared to www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Brunette family.
