May 8, 1977 – May 2, 2025
With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Louisa, surrounded by her loved ones at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the age 47 - a few days shy of her birthday. Cherished daughter, bella di papà, of Federico Bruno and the late Marisa Bruno with whom she is now reunited with. Beloved older sister of Patricia Vella (Marlow) and Christina Bisson (Jeb). Proud and loving Zia of her three nieces - Sophia, Scarlet, and Sylvia Vella - whom she adored beyond measure. Louisa will be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family, friends and loved ones in Canada, the USA and Italy.
Louisa’s positive attitude was contagious and a gift to all who knew her. No matter the challenges she faced, she met life with resilience and optimism. She brought laughter, light, and love into every room she entered. Her legacy of kindness, joy, and compassion will live on in our hearts forever. We will miss her bright smile, that she always managed to show us, even in her final days. Anytime we enjoy a dark chocolate Aero bar, a cream puff or some Bailey’s, we will think of her.
Louisa leaves behind her two beloved cats, Suna and Titan, who were her precious companions and a great source of happiness and comfort.
Friends and family are invited to visit Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.
