With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Bumphrey (nee Casola) at the young age of 57.
Beloved wife of the late Michael Bumphrey and loving, supportive mother of Maggie Jean Bumphrey. Maggie Jean adored her Mama as her best friend. Daughter of the late Jean Casola and late James Sr. Casola. Sister of Jimmy Jr. (Terri), late Frank (Ann Marie), Kenny (Karen), Jane Buonomo (Gino) and Mary Casola (Brent Swift). Daughter-in-law of Margaret "Maggie" Nardi (late Eddo) and sister-in-law of Bryan Majewski (Colette) and Nicki Bumphrey. Margaret was loved by many nieces and nephews and was often considered a friend to them. Margaret will be missed by many aunts, uncles and friends. Margaret held a special place in her heart for Sherry Barsalou, Anna Paquin, Caroline Graham, Diana Donnelly and Andrew Hotchkies.
She will also be missed by her fur baby, Marley. Our family takes great comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with the love of her life, Mike “Babeez”. Margaret will be remembered for her love of life, bubbly personality and contagious smile. She was a true Lakeway Trojan and a Bandette Alumni.
A Celebration of Life for Margaret is planned for Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at The Grand Gardens (1324 Great Northern Rd) at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards a trust fund for her daughter Maggie Jean Bumphrey (addressed to Maggie Jean Bumphrey).
