BYCHKO, Mary (nee Popielarz)

Passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in her 94th year.  Predeceased by her husband Peter.  Loving mama of Zenna Metcalfe (Richard), Paul Bychko (Sharon) and the late Wally Bychko (Lori).  Proud grama of Ryan Metcalfe of Denmark,  Candace Varden (Rick) of Ottawa and Lindsay Metcalfe, Courtney Bychko (Sean), Nikki Thibodeau (Tyler) and Rilee Bychko (Joel), Marcella, Melinda and Paul Bychko Jr. (Celia). Loving great grama of Alicia and Robin Metcalfe, Caiya, Meg and Taye Varden, Morgan and Emma Wesley, Jaxon Nielson and Zaden Thibodeau, Spencer and Tyler Clayton and Joseph Paul (J.P.) Bychko. Special aunt (ciocia) to Barbara Lombardo (Domenic), Krystina Cayen (Robert), Stella Marnicki (Walter), late Richard Popielarz and sister of Piotr Popielarz of Poland.  Friends and family may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.  Funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm.  Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.  Many thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Great Northern Retirement Home for the past 6 years of caring and compassion.
