June 30th, 1960 – June 1, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Paul Caissie, affectionately known as Paul to all who loved him, on June 1, 2025, at the age of 64. Born in 1960, Paul was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Caissie and Marilyn Babin, his stepfather, Randy Babin  as well as his brother Ernie Caissie and his dogs, Meeka, Kia and Snoopy, whom he shared a beautiful bond with. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Barb Caissie (Charles), Colleen Caissie, Rick Caissie, Elaine Pigeau (Dave), Lynne Caissie, and Bob Caissie (Diane).

He leaves behind his son,  Christopher (Misti), and their children, Thomas, Morgan, Celea and Sakura, and his daughter Kayla (Heaven-Leigh). He was also deeply cherished by Laura, Emilee and Sean, and adored by his many nieces and nephews, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews.

Paul had an uncanny ability to make you laugh in any situation, something his nephew Cory deeply appreciated about his uncle Paul.

Paul found peace and joy in nature, especially at his favourite fishing spot, where he spent countless hours over the years. In lieu of a formal ceremony, his children have chosen to honour his memory by scattering his ashes privately at that special place in North Bay.

He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

“Keep racking them up, buttercup” -Cory Caissie
