Carol Jane Cann, born on April 11, 1943, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved Grammy, Carol’s warm spirit and gentle kindness touched everyone she met.
Born to Sophie Belleau and Arthur Vincent Zack, Carol grew up surrounded by love and was a cherished sister to Marie, Joannie, Pearl, Muriel, John, and the late Gerald and Merlin.
Carol devoted her entire life to her family, always ready to help anyone in need and taking immense pride in the achievements and well-being of her loved ones. Her incredible work ethic and unwavering dedication to her job were evident to all who knew her, reflecting the strength and commitment that defined her character. She was a strong person who fiercely protected her family, standing as a pillar of resilience and love. She shared her life with her husband, Harold Cann, and is now joining him in eternal rest.
She was a loving mother to William, Edward, Robin/Bones (Tanya), James, and Lisa (Bobby). Her nurturing guidance and steadfast support helped shape her children into remarkable individuals. Carol also found great joy in being a caring Grammy to Mitchell, Zack, Maggie, Melissa, Michael, Raeven, Amy, Aaron, Myra, Adara, Tala, Dakota, Nathan, Madison, Mya, and Holly, and a Great Grammy to Myles, Levi, Koda, Mavric, Soren, Freya, Sophia, and Grace.
Throughout her life, Carol was always there for her family—offering help, wisdom, and compassion whenever needed. Her selfless dedication and the love she so generously shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be planned by her family, and details will be shared with those whose lives she so deeply touched.
