Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Pioneer Manor at the age of 80. Gisele is survived by her children, Suzanne Gallagher (Fyland), Raymond Carriere (Betty), Christianne Van Midde (Michael), Rene Carriere, and Lou Carriere (Stephanie).
Grandmother of Christianne, Chantal, Angele, Shane, Kayla, Ryan, Holly, Megan, Jessie, Andrew, Tyler, Cory, Jordan, Rene (predeceased), Great Grandmother of 13. Daughter of the late Romuald and Emilia Chabot. Dear sister of Gerald (predeceased), Lloyd (predeceased), Roger, Gilbert, Robert, Julie, Diane, Maurice, Mark (predeceased). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Gisele had a spontaneous and adventurous spirit which has been passed down to all who loved her. Her laughter was contagious! She was gifted with creative talent that showed through her cake decorating, crocheting, ceramic, quilting, macraming and chocolate decorating.
Gisele was a “Jack of all Trades” with many jobs but she really loved driving school bus.
Friends and family are invited to a service at St. Alexander’s Church in Chelmsford on Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a light luncheon reception. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford at 2:30 p.m. Father Ken Gauthier officiating. Memorial contributions to Pioneer Manor’s Forever Caring Tree or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Gisele loved her home at Pioneer Manor and the family are grateful for the care she received. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
