Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 77. She is survived by her husband Ivan and son Dennis. Daughter of the late Paula Markuža. Sister of Rajko Markuža (Eda). Sister-in-law of Silvana Vitežnik. Aunt to Marko and Miran Markuža, Maja, Matej and Igor Vitežnik (Margarita). She leaves behind many cousins, family, and friends in Slovenia, Sault Ste. Marie, Treviso and Lignano Italy. The family would like to thank all the staff, nurses, and doctors at the Sault Area Hospital for all the care and compassion shown over the past four months. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada (payable by cheque or online).
