On February 22, 2022, in Vancouver, Melanie lost a battle she had fought with thyroid cancer and substance abuse disorder.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm which will take place where Melanie grew up at 68 Hillside Drive, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
