CHANTLER, 'Betty' Florence Elizabeth (Black)

Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph’s Villa in Sudbury on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Chantler (1990) and loved mother of John (Isabel) of New Lowell, Bob (Vicky) of Montreal, Lynne (Phil) of Sudbury and Anne (Paul) of Kipawa. Cherished grandmother of Craig, Jennifer (Mike), Anna, Christopher (Jody), Trevor (Cynthia), Tracey (Steve), Sarah (Scott), Michael (Karina), Mark, Derek (Beth), Lisa (Matt) and Brian (Kristen). Loving great-grandmother to 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son David (2007), brother Jim Black (Pat) and sister-in law Marjorie Wadham (Ed). Thank you to all the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their years of love and care and the Guardian Angel volunteers in Betty’s last few days. A visitation will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 45 Elm Street, Temiscaming, Quebec on Saturday, April 23, 2016 commencing at 10:00 a.m. until time  of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Kathy McCallum officiating. Remembrances would be appreciated to St. Paul’s United Church in Temiscaming or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
