It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Victor in his 93rd year at the F.J. Davey Home on Monday, May 9, 2016. Predeceased by his wife Verna (2001). Loving father of Ron (Isabel) and Dennis (Lee). Granddad of Michael, Derek (Lesley), Aaron (Melinda), Sam and Will. Great grandfather of Peter, Fiona, Morgan and Bristol. He will be remembered by his brother Stanley and predeceased by his siblings Mary Robinson, Ellen Maltman, Mildred Shakelton, Robert Lawrence, Albert, Arthur, Harold, Willard and Grant Chapman. Victor will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Cloudslee Cemetery on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:30 am, following the service a come and go will take place at the Bruce Station Hall from 12:30 until 2:30 pm. Memorial contributions to the F.J. Davey Home Residents Council, Cloudslee United Church or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Victor received from the staff of Driftwood Beach 3rd Floor of the F.J. Davey Home.
