Chevrier, Germain “Lawrence'

Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 29, 2018 at the Mattawa General Hospital in his 88th year.  Lawrence was predeceased by his parents; Mary Langevin and Germain Chevrier, his brother; Gaspar Chevrier and by his two children; Irene and Gabriel Chevrier.  Lawrence is survived by eight children; Muriel (Clem), Hector (Sheila), Aline (Brian), Bobbie (Allen), Gerald, Darlene, Lynn (Mark) and Mary-Lou. He will also be lovingly remembered by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, prospecting and building.  In keeping with Lawrence’s wishes cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
