Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at SAH on February 25th, 2016 in his 88th year. Much loved husband to Ruth for 63 years. Cherished daddy of Gladys (Veikko), John (June), Gerry (Tammy), the late Eddy, Darlene (Carl), and Heather (Marc). Fun loving grandpa of 10 grandchildren, and great grampa to 16. Survived by many sisters and brothers across New Brunswick. Those who knew dad, knew what a comical man he was. He was always known for cracking jokes and making people constantly laugh. Daddy died with a smile on his face. He is finally at peace after 3 months of sickness. Friends and family may call at Lifespring Church, 891 People's Road, Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday March 1, 2016 from 11am until time of service in the church at 1 o’clock. Spring interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Many thanks to many doctors and nurses at Sault Area Hospital 3rd floor for their consistent care for dad. Also a very special thank you to Liz Young for her constant care and compassion.
