Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) with his family by his side.
He was the son of the late Bernard and Laura Conlin. Dennis was a beloved husband to Judy Conlin for 56 wonderful years. He was the cherished father of Krista Dundas (Kevin Dundas), Terry Conlin (Jill Conlin), and Kim Conlin (Shunsuke Murao). Dennis was a proud and loving Poppa to Kaden and Kyla Dundas, Colton, Carson, Camden, and Callie Conlin, and Kianah and Tysei Murao. Dennis is survived by his brother Jim Conlin and was predeceased by his brother Ron Conlin and twin infant brothers. He will be missed by many friends and extended family.
Born in New Liskeard Ontario, Dennis moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 1966, where he began his career and became an active community member building meaningful connections and lifetime friendships. Dennis had a lifelong love for sports, whether it was playing, watching, or coaching. He was deeply loved and respected by his family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at Bethel Bible Chapel. A come and go luncheon visitation with the family will follow the service between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to ARCH Hospice, Sault Area Hospital - Cancer Care Fund, or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Dennis will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for his loyalty, wisdom and encouragement.
