Peacefully passed away at the Health Sciences North on Friday, June 16, 2017. Predeceased by his wife Thelma Blackbird. Beloved husband of Lila Swanson. Loving father of Roxanne Debasige and family, Marcia (Dewayne), Shannon (Bruce) and Darcy. Step-father of Patsy, Brenda, Maureen, Karen, David and Dale. Cherished grandfather of Keesha, Raven, Megan, Bree, Marcia, Mark, Cierra, Faith, Hope, Jesse James, Sunndance, Jordan, Jasmine, Phoenix and Darcy Jr. and 16 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John Peter Corbiere and Lucy Rose Wabonge and his sisters and brothers Elizabeth Brydges, Mary Cress, Cecil Eklund, Sara Neveau, Alex Corbiere, Margaret Coghill, Max Corbiere, Nelson Corbiere, Edward Corbiere and Lucy Eastman. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be held in the in chapel on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
