Passed away at home on March 26, 2025, at the age of 64.
Stepdad to John, Brian, and Beau. Son of the late Henry and Donalda Cormier. Brother to Jean Claude, Mario (Debbie), late Andre, and Rolande (Mary Jane). He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean Yves, a seasoned commercial fisherman, spent countless days on the vast waters of the West Coast on his cherished commercial fishing boat. His zest for life extended well beyond the deck of his fishing boat. He lived life to the fullest. Jean Yves was known as the owner of the "fastest wheelchair in town”.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
