CRESS, Curtis “Curt” “Roy Hobbs”– Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, November 8th at the age of 66.
Cherished husband and best friend to Tina Roach. Loving father of Curt Cress Jr. (Caitlin) and Kylie Cress. Proud Papa of his pal Mia, Ethan, Bentley, Cason, Wyatt, Gabriel, and Micah. Son of Pearl Zack and predeceased by his father Gordon Cress. Dear brother of Sherry Cress, Ronnie Cress (Tammy), Terry Cress (Angie), Michael Cress, Cory Cress, Stacey Vincent Cress (Christina), Lisa Clark (Bob) and the late Annie Cress. Special brother of Robbie, Davey, Gerry, and Janine. Special uncle of Jarrid “Chooch”. Curt will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Angie Cress and to the staff at the Sault Area Hospital, especially to his two favourite nurses Steph and Cassie. A special thank you to his doctors Dr. Dawson and Dr. Culina for their care and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Garden River Community Centre on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 from 3:00pm until the time of service on Thursday, November 14th at 11:00am. Burial will take place following the service at Garden River Anglican Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital – Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated.
