CRESSWELL, Tracy E. –B. Sc., LL.B.

November 16, 1963 to March 15, 2017 - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy E. Cresswell, surrounded by family and friends at her home, the view that she loved. Life partner and soul mate of Gayle McMullin. Beloved daughter of Peter and Nancy Cresswell. Sister of Bob Cresswell (Laura) and Susan Ruckstuhl (John).  Aunt of Jamie and Michael. Special Aunt of Trevor Cresswell (Amy) and Amy Cresswell. Great Aunt of Molly Cresswell. Special caring Aunt of Nathan Aubé. Beloved friend of Claudette Roussel. Niece of David Moore (Joan). She will be fondly remembered by Annis, Allan, Mike McMullin and Shelley Myers.  A prominent and revered member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. Tracy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Superior State College followed by her Bachelor of Laws from Windsor Law University being called to the Bar at Osgoode in 1990.  The true measure of a person is indicative of the people who surround them.  Tracy had many lifelong friends and was rich in the love and support they provided. Her helpful and caring nature was only a glimmer of the amazing person she was. Tracy had a heart bigger than life and was always the first person to put her hand up and say, “I’ll help”. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Iron Club on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1 pm until 4 pm.  In lieu of flowers a bursary at Algoma University has been established in Tracy E. Cresswell’s name to honour her life’s commitment to the practice of law. The family wishes to sincerely thank the nurses and staff on 3A and nurse Amy of Bayshore.
