With profound heartbreak on June 18, 2025, we bid farewell to a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who fought courageously.

Adored wife of Leonardo of over 65 years. Dearest mother and confidant of Rose Vespini (Robert), Irene Pagnucco (Michael) and Frank (Marilena). Proud and cherished Nanna of Bianca Vespini (Tyler Cushner), Brandon Diotte, Joel Diotte, Sofia Cucullo and Taylor Vespini-Cushner. Step Nanna of Amy Pagnucco (Dan), Stephanie Hopkin (Brendan), Hillary Pagnucco (Brandon), Gloria and Hazel Harvey and William Hopkin. Predeceased by her granddaughter Marla and parents Salvatore and Carmela Ciardullo.

Sister of the late Rosaria Ammirato (late Mario), late Ida Ciardullo (late Vittorio), Vincenzo Ciardullo (Maria), Ada Giordano (late Giovanni), Francesco Ciardullo (Franca), Maria Giordano (late Daniele), Eugenio Ciardullo (Rosanna), Alfredo Ciardullo (Giovanna), late Renato Ciardullo (Gina), Vanda Palumbo (Gaspare), Rodolfo Ciardullo (late Gina) and Osvaldo Ciardullo (Angela). Favourite Zia Annina of many.

Anna showed her love through the delicious food her hands created and was shared with family and friends around the table. Everyone raved about her homemade pasta dishes, bread and softest ginetti which she made until 2 weeks ago.

With determination, her health issues did not stop her abilities to tend to her precious geraniums that were the envy of the neighbourhood.

The family wishes to acknowledge the efforts of the many dedicated health care providers that helped navigate the challenges of the last 8 years.

Dr. James Curran, Dr. Berg, Dr. Hill, Dr. John Graham and the St Mike's team Toronto, Dr. Evans, Dr. Devon, Dr. Natalia Kargbo, Dr. Bariciak, Dr. Aziz, Dr. Taylor, Dr. Reich and Pharmacists Paul and Andrea from Metro Northern Ave.

We are also grateful for the care and kindness given by Dr. Poitevin for over 30 years.

To honour her memory and celebrate her desire in feeding people, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank or The Soup Kitchen Community Centre. (Payable online https://www.vincentplacessm.ca/donate/https://www.soupkitchencommunitycentre.org/donate.html or by cheque).

A private family service will be held.

God saw that you were weary.

You are now at peace.
