Passed with peace and grace on Sunday, December 17, 2017 with her family at her side. Predeceased by her loving husband William (Bud). Cherished mother of Patricia Stanghetta (Philip), William (Kathy) and Brenda McMillan (Mel). Grandmother of Marc Stanghetta (Lori), Robert Danz (Jennifer), Cassie Danz (Toni), Matthew McMillan and Lindsay Danz. Great grandmother of Hugh, Ava and Abby Stanghetta, Kaelan, Noah, Alissa, Aiden and Naomi Violet Danz and Alex Onishenko. Dear sister of Nora Forsey (John). Predeceased by her sister Joyce Merolini (Sonny). Predeceased by her brothers Gerald LaFontaine (late Lillian), Jack LaFontaine (Scheryl), Vincent LaFontaine and Robert LaFontaine (Paola). Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Words cannot express the gratitude the family feels for all the care and support given to Vi by her special friends Dawna Dauphinais and Christine Gagnon and her extended family at Cedar 1 FJ Davey Home.
