DAVEY, Elizabeth (Betty)

Passed away suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in her 88th year. Much loved wife of Ivan for 46 years. Loving mother of Michael, Steve, Linda, late David, Barbara (JP), and Fred (Denice). Grandmother of 6 and Great Grandmother of 8. Daughter of the late Herb and Helen Meyers. Sister of Chris Emms (late Alf),  Jim Meyers (late Irene), Doreen Desautel (late John), Bob Myers (Barb), and predeceased by June Strachan (late John), and Earl Meyers (late Mary). Sister-in-law of Fred Davey (Birdie), Reg Davey (Gayanne), and predeceased by Grace Beaudette (late Albert), Albert Davey (late Phyllis), Arthur Davey (late Kay), Earl Davey (late Lucille), Gordon Davey (late Flora), Joyce Frechette (late George), and Orval Davey. In respecting Betty’s wishes, a private family service was held. In her memory, donations may be made to Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH).
