Passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on Monday November 28, 2016 at the Sault Area Hospital following a brief illness at the age of 65. Angelo was born in Sant' Onofrio, Catanzaro, Italy and was the beloved son of Teresa and the late Giuseppe Defina of Genova, Italy, brother to Nancy (Pasquale) Ruscio of Sault Ste. Marie and Maria Defina (Genova, Italy) Adoring and much loved father of Joe (Ottawa, ON), Vince (Calgary, AB) and Tony (Sault Ste. Marie, ON). Angelo will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom will remember his love and passion for soccer and his quiet and quick smile. Friends are invited to visit at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and cremation Center 215 St. James Street on Thursday December 1, 2016 from 10:00am to 12:00 pm. Funeral service to follow at 1:00pm at St Gerard Majella Church 211 Pentagon Blvd with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating with interment to follow.
