We sadly announce the passing of Joanna at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, November 23, 2017 in her 82nd year. She was an example of strength and grace. After numerous years of defying the odds, her faith and perseverance carried her through. Joanna was a devoted wife to Giovanni Del Paggio for over 60 years. She was a cherished mother to Frank Del Paggio (Christine Ingribelli) and Carmela Maione (Peter). Also, she held a special place in her heart for her grandson Jonathon Del Paggio. She was the daughter of the late Angela and Felice Notte and daughter-in-law of the late Maria and Franceso Del Paggio. Predeceased by her brothers Mattia Notte (Teresa), and Alexander Notte (late Giovanna). Joanna was a loving aunt to numerous nephews. According to Joanna’s wishes, a private funeral was held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Memorial contributions to SAH Cancer Clinic, ARCH, or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
