(December 18, 1926 – November 5, 2017) – Francesco DeLuca passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the age of 90, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Ersilia DeLuca for 67 years. Son of the late Pietro and Stella DeLuca and son-in-law of the late Francesco and Rosaria Aceti. Loving father of daughter Clare Caicco (Dominic) and son Peter DeLuca. Cherished grandfather of Anne-Marie Caicco (Adam Courneene), Laurie Breault, Sarah Fratesi (Kevin), Patrick DeLuca, Austin DeLuca and Morgan Tersigni. Loved and adored great grandpa (Nonno) of Connor Matthew Breault. Dear brother of the late Chiarina DeLuca. Brother-in-law of the late Pasquale Aceti (late Louise), late Umberto Aceti (late Guilia), late Gino Aceti (Gina), late Joseph Aceti (Pepino) and the late Marietta Filice (late Luigino). A special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Waymouth, Dr. Tull, Simone, all of the ambulance attendants and firefighters, SAH ER doctors and nurses, Access Centre Janet Acal, PSW’s Aline, Doreen, Maude, Johanne and Sylvia, ParaMed nurses Allesia, Holly, Barbara, Lisa, Brenna and Ryan, as well as the Palliative nurses Rita and Lexine and also to his special and extremely loving and loyal friends Dominic and Gloria Stefannizi. At Frank’s request, a private family service has been held at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E, 705-759-2522) on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Rev. Sam Norbo officiated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Dad, we miss you so very much. We will never forget you. We will always remember the words of wisdom you showered upon us - basically to do good and to love each other and everyone and to be compassionate and forgiving.
