Irene was a War Bride and immigrated to Canada at the age of 17, when she married Donald W. Frayling. Irene leaves behind her husband of forty years Austin DeMerchant. Predeceased by her brother Jack Hill (Margaret) and sister Betty Breed (John). She will always be loved and forever missed by her children Stephen Frayling (Laurie), Gloria Bumbaco (Frank), Donna Clayton (John) and previously deceased daughter Shirley Seccarriccia (Frank). Nana Irene was loved dearly by her grandchildren, Tara Cianchetti Andrejack (John), Michael Cianchetti (Mary), Scott Seccarriccia (Lesley), Don Frayling (Nadine) Chris Lapointe (Toby), Stevie Frayling (Brandie), Rachael Palahnuck (Rob), Jake Frayling (Victoria), Lisa Bumbaco (Kip Harrington), Cindy Richardson (Jim), John Clayton (Tanya), and Jaime Clayton Besserer (Tim). Irene adored not only her grandchildren but also her many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was special Aunt to Betsy, Christopher, Tina, Laurie and families and second mother to Leslie Stimson (late Adrian), Nora and Rod Wessell and Jimmy Garrett.
