Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the age of 80. Beloved Husband of Sheila (nee Alexander) in their 58th year of marriage. Devoted and fun loving father of Mary Muio (Guy), Patrick, Betty Pinder (Jamie), and Rob (Cedar). Very proud grandfather of Andrew Muio, Michael Muio (Joanne), Paul Muio (Christina), Courtney Pinder (Graham), Holley Pinder (Matt), Matthew Pinder and Calli Dewar. Special father-in-law of Len Theriault. Son of the late Earl and Jeannette Dewar. Big “B” to his siblings Marlene Rowe (Ed), Jackie Conway, Earl Jr. “Hap” (Alice). Son-in-law of the late Bernadette and Russell Alexander. Brother-in-law of the late Mary Alexander, Anita Janveau (Romeo), Robert Alexander (Nancy). Uncle and great uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Paul will be sadly missed by his Havilland Bay buddies and numerous Texas friends. In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place followed by a private family service officiated by John Maccarone. Please join the family for a celebration of life at the Sault Ste. Marie Elks Lodge (216 Bay St.) on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 12-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or to the Elks Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
