DiPASQUALE, Mercedes Rita

(April 7, 1921 – May 4, 2017) – Passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, after a short illness. She had a long and healthy life. Her passion was playing cards, especially bridge with her family and friends until the end. Loving wife of the late Remo DiPasquale. Predeceased by her husbands James Scott and Harry Varley. Cherished mother of Paulette Vautour (Gerry), late Barbara Ann Scott and Michael Varley. Step-mother of Glen DiPasquale (Lizbeth), Richard DiPasquale (Barbara), David DiPasquale (Renate) and Brian Varley (Donna). Proud grandma, great grandma and great-great grandma of many wonderful grandchildren. Sister of Joseph Lauzon (Lena) and predeceased by Lenore Hall (late Arthur), Betty Cherry (late Jim), Dorothy Miller (late Jack) and Phil Lauzon (Marg). Mercedes will be missed by many nieces and nephews. At Mercedes request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
