Passed away peacefully at sunset at 6:22 p.m. on All Saints’ Day, surrounded by her family, at Sault Area Hospital on November 1, 2024. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Clarence "Hector". Cherished mother of Terry DuBois (Cathie), Lori DuBois (Danny), Gary DuBois (Pam), Karen Poirier (Mike) and Patti DuBois-Pallot (Jim).  Proud Nana of Matthew (Alicia), Patrick (Mariah), Erik, Evan, Jesse, Sarah (Pat), Amanda (Alex), Madison (Parker) and Ashyln.  

Daughter of the late Ricardo and late Rose Luciani.  Sister of the late Tony Luciani (late Irma), the late Albert Luciani (Lena), the late Laura Salvini (late Joe), the late Adeline Litalien (late Laurent and late Jean), and Richard Luciani (Irene).

Daughter-in-law of the late Francis and late Emeline DuBois of Blind River, and sister-in-law of Grace Phillips of London, Ontario.

Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  She will also be missed by Sandra Pold, her good friend of many years, and the Krancevich family.

Mary lived her life for her family.  Her love of her husband, children and grandchildren was evident in everything she did.  She had a huge generous heart and always wanted to make sure everyone else was taken care of.  She also was very comical and enjoyed life! She was a huge sports nana that cheered on her grandkids.

Family and friends are invited to St. Jerome's Parish on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating.

Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date.   

The family would like to thank Dr. Tozier, Dr. Jarrett, Dr. Buehner, the respiratory technicians, and a special thank you to Dr. Booth and the nurses on 3C and for their exceptional professionalism and compassion. Special thank you to all the staff on Harmony Bay unit at Extendicare Maple View for their three years of excellent care.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District or Make a Wish Canada. Payable online or by cheque.
