Roland Arthur Du Bois, at the age of 69, after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer, was reunited with his beloved wife, Lola, on Saturday, October 1, 2016.  Rolly was the loving son of Evilda Du Bois (nee Moïse) and the late Hormidas Du Bois. He is survived by his brothers Georges (Nathalie), William (Nathalie), André (Donna), and his sisters Cécile Beaudry (Jack), Suzanne Morin (Claude), Colette Laforest (Frank), and Louise MacLeod (Rod). He was also brother-in-law to Alice Labbé (Robert), Gloria Pilon, Sally Piché (Roland) and the late Patsy Piché, Paulo Pilon, and James Pilon. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and a special nephew to Annette St. Pierre and Helen St. Pierre. Many thanks to the special care Rolly received from Dr. Deverell and Dr. Naccarato and the wonderful nursing staff at the Blind River Hospital and the Community Support Outreach Program. Friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday, October 8th, 2016 for a “Celebration of Life” gathering to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Blind River at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Shore Health Network Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
