Brian passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on December 19, 2020, at the age of 62. He leaves behind his loving partner of 43 years, Karen. He was a proud father of daughter Sydney (Allan), son Jake, and the brightest sunshine in even the most difficult days, his granddaughters, Hadley Jean and Genevieve Louise. He is survived by his parents, Helen and Doug Duggan of Calgary AB and a large family of siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Brian was an avid motorcyclist and loved nothing more than spending time in his garage polishing every inch of his bike. He fought his cancer with unwavering optimism and never lost hope that he would one day ride his Harley again. Special thanks to the amazing cancer care staff at Sault Area Hospital, and to the Bayshore and CBI home health care team for the compassionate care. Memorial donations may be made payable to or online to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
