Suddenly but peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday June 7, 2016, Gerry Elwgren at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents John and Anna Elwgren. Brother of the late Betty Durocher (late Esko and the late Napolean) and the late Alec (Alice). Gerry was uncle to the late Bob (Sandra), Nancy, Fred, the late Mike, Janet, Susan, John, Bonnie and their families. He will be sadly missed by his good friends in   Goulais River.  As per Gerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held downstairs at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 (96 Great Northern Rd) on Sunday, June 12 from 1 to 4 pm. The family would like to thank Goulais Fire and Rescue Volunteers, the Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department and 3C for all the care given to Gerry.
