ERKKILA, Olga (Shoust)

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, February 21st in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Erkkila. Dear mother of Doug (Anna-Liisa). Grandmother to Andrew, Nathan and Eden Erkkila. Sister of Fred Shoust (Riley). Predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary Shoust, and brothers John (late Pauline) and Nick (late Jean). Special Auntie to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Beduhn, and all the medical staff of I.C.U. and 3B who cared for Olga at Sault Area Hospital. In lieu of a funeral service, please join us as we celebrate Olga’s life on Saturday February 25, 2017 at the Delta Waterfront Presidential Suite, 208 St Mary’s Drive Sault Ste. Marie between 6 pm and 9 pm. A family interment will take place in the spring. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
