Donald Ross Evans, M.A.Sc., P.Eng. (University of Toronto 5T3). Passed away peacefully in Stratford on April 21, 2016 in his 88th year. Loving Husband of 61 years to Pat. Proud father of Wendy (Boris Ovcaric), Peter (Mary) and Betsy. Adored grandfather of Allie, Amanda, Gregory (Jill) and Fraser (Lauren). Brother of Shirley Clarke and Doug. Former Chief Administrative Officer of the Region of Durham, City Engineer, and City Administrator of the City of Sault Ste. Marie. Don loved spending time with his family at the cottage on St. Joseph's Island, loved traveling and golfing, and was a proud Rotarian. Private family services will be held. A celebration of Don’s life will be announced.
