EVANS, Gary (Richard)

Passed away peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on July, 30, 2016 at the age of 70 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Juanita for 50 years. Loving father of Tammy Evans (Jamie), Edith Evans (Brian), Tracy Webb (Rick), and Tricia DeVos (Julian).  Father-in-law of the late Richard Piazza. Proud Papa of Taylar and Paul Piazza, Tyler and Cassie Evans, Hannah and Chuck Webb, and Megan and Joey DeVos. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Emma Evans. Son-in-law of Edith and the late George Sherrard. Brother of the late Harold (late Ann), Bobby (Penny), and Clifford (Dorothy). Brother-in-law of Kay (Ray), George (Lori), Lillian “Pinky”, Ina “Mussy” (Randy), Johnny (Kathy), and Barbara (Chris). Gary will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Gary will also be missed by many co-workers from Algoma Steel, SIS and S&T Group. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service to take place Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11 am. Mr. Gene Monin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family.
