It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Irma Falsetto (Nee Cuglietta). Born in Cleto, Cosenza, Italy on April 17, 1931.  Irma passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Beloved wife of Geniale Falsetto for 63 loving years. Irma was immensely proud of her family and left us beautiful memories.  Mamma, Your love is still our guide and although we cannot see you are always at our side.  Her life was a blessing her memory a treasure, you will be missed beyond Measure. Wonderful mother to Maria Antonia Valle (Orlando) Ferdinando, Gina Feraco, Nella Perri (David), Margherita Bergamin (Sante) and Milva Falsetto. Much adored nana to the biggest joys of her life Francesco (Jennifer), Maria (Benjamin), Geniale. Giovanni, Michael, Silvana (Michael) Amanda, Daniel, Deno, Melissa, Clarissa and Donato. Great grandmother of Gia, Nicola, Anastacia, Luca and Sophia. Devoted daughter of the late Geniale and Emilia (Pellegrini) Cuglietta. Daughter- in- law of the Late Ferdinando and Maria Antonia.   Sister of the late Gugliemo Cuglietta (Late Lucia) Filomena Chiarelli (Late Italo), Ettorino Cuglietta (Late Ersilia), Late Ida Cuglietta (Late Vittorio), Late Ortenzio Cuglietta (Late Sarafina) and Late Margherita Berardelli (Francesco).  Sister-in-law of the Late Fiorenzo (Francesca), Amedeo (Late Luisa) Falsetto. Irma leaves behind many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Italy, whom she loved dearly. Special thank you to Antonio and Emilia Milito and Geniale and Maria Cuglietta.  Margherita Chiarelli and George and Margaret Burbidge for their continued support and never ending compassion and love. Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset St. West, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 5K1, 613-235-6712 Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment at Capital Memorial Gardens.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ottawa Civic Hospital and Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.  Grateful to Jean, Angela and Debra for their care and support.
